This flashlight produces mostly UV light, so it is not useful for normal illumination tasks. It is VERY useful for tasks requiring UV light, such as currency authentication, spotting scorpions, and Crime Scene Investigation work. Uses 3 AAA batteries, not included. Aluminum Construction with pewter finish. 12 Bright UV LEDs, tailcap click-on button operation. Significantly brighter than the Inova X5 UV

	Excellent UV light
	I purchased this light for my daughter to use as she has a pet scorpion. It REALLY makes the scorpion glow and stand out if you're having trouble finding him in his tank... you can't miss him! We also plan to use it for backyard scorpion hunting. For the price, you should get 2!

	Great for the price
	Got one of these for a friend that has scorpion issues at his house, oh yea one for myself as well. Great for the price bumping it up to 4 stars. The light is useful at about 3 feet and even shows the security mesures on US currency. Wish I could replace the lens with a ULC but again, for the price you cannot beat it.
