Using NyoGel and flashlight care tips
Making sure your investments are well taken care of can mean taking you car in for regular tune-ups or making sure the your everyday tools are in good working condition. Whether flashlights are a part of your job or something you keep around the house in the event of an emergency, you want to make sure they are working when you need them to. NyoGel 760g lubricates and protects electrical contacts, extending their life and as a result, the life of your flashlight. Other than using a grease to take care of your flashlights, there are additional measures you can take to keep them going and easy to find when you need them.
Make sure you store your flashlight in a location that is convenient and easy to reach. Generally, you'll want to avoid extreme temperatures, but many of the flashlights we carry are able to stand up against adverse conditions better than traditional flashlights and you can always protect them further by storing them in a Pelican case. Although ours can take more of a beating, you'll still want to do what you can to prolong their life. Periodically check your flashlights and their batteries to make sure they are in working order, especially if they haven't been used for long periods of time. When you perform this check, you may take that opportunity to check the electrical contacts and apply NyoGel or another grease if needed.
