| The Princeton Tec Scout headlamp is ultra-light, and features dual bright white L.E.D.s. Color Varies, Black, Blue, etc. The Scout has a simple multi-function switch to control its 5 output settings. There are three modes of light output (high, medium and low) along with 2 blinking/signaling modes. On high, the output is enough for night hiking on well maintained trails, and the battery-saving low setting can be used for close-up work and reading. The Scout weighs only 1.6 oz. with batteries. The 4 lithium coin cell batteries (included) last for 24 hours on high and 48 hours on low. To further reduce weight, the main unit can be removed from the head band and attached to a hat brim or backpack strap. The Scout is an extremely lightweight headlamp. 2" overall headlamp.
