Solar Force LC-XPG Cree R5 Single Mode Drop-In

I was originally planning on buying the L2 host to use with a malkoff led but decided to try this Solar Force R5 module instead. For over half the price and more lumen output than the malkoff, I am pretty happy with it.

I purchased 2 of these drop ins one for my weapons light and the other to replace a dying R2 drop in I had in my G2. These things are BRIGHT! I have yet to test the run time but so far I am very happy with the brightness and build quality of this drop in. I highly recommend it.

I bought this drop in and put it in a solar force light. So far this is working great. It has a tight beam with good throw. As a police officer that works nights I'm happy to find a bright light that is affordable.

I have a Huntlight F01 Special Edition, that the LED died on me after several years of use. I really liked that light and couldn't find an OEM module for it. This one dropped right in place of the "old" one and is an excellent fit with the spring as received. I really like it because it brought new life back to my Huntlight and is much brighter now too. Thanks Lighthound!
