The XTAR MP1S charger is designed to charge the 14650/17640/18650/18700, and also the 10440/14500/15270/16340/18350 3.7 volt Li-ion batteries when using included charging spacers. It is designed with algorithm (TC.CC.CV)
charging method which can monitor the battery's status in real time and controls
charging safely automatically. It also has reverse-polarity protection , and over/under
voltage disconnecting technology.
When the input voltage (AC adapter or car adapter) is removed the charger will be in a low current status automatically, and will lower the battery's discharging current to below 4uA.
When charging is complete the charger will monitor the battery continuously - it will restart charging is the battery voltage drops below 4.0 volts to insure the battery is fully charged.
Also, the charging management chip can monitor the IC temp; so if the temperature is too high the charging current will lower automatically to insure continual charging.
